A baby-girl-theme centerpiece can help set the mood for your baby shower. There are many quick, creative ways to create the centerpiece yourself, regardless of your budget. Flowers, ribbons, clothes, diapers or pacifiers are among the low-cost materials you can use. Just remember that since the decoration is a centerpiece, it needs to be tall enough to remain visible on a table laden with food, drinks or gifts.

    Balloon Bear

    • Combine balloons and an average-size teddy bear to create a baby-shower centerpiece. For the base of the centerpiece, use a teddy bear wearing a pink diaper and pink bonnet, and place a washcloth-filled pink bottle between its legs and arms. Attach six helium-filled balloons by tying ribbons around the neck of the bottle to secure the balloons.

    Cheerful Bouquet

    • Mix fake flowers and homemade lollipops to create a baby-shower centerpiece with a cheerful, girly theme. A round, medium-size, frosted glass vase with a lilac ribbon tied into a bow around the neck provides a delicate base for the centerpiece. Add a tall bouquet of fake yellow, white and lilac tulips for a cheerful splash of color. Position pink pacifier-shaped lollipops on long white sticks randomly in the bouquet for a soft and whimsical accent.

    Diaper Cake

    • Diaper cakes are a classic centerpiece choice for baby showers. For a baby girl, use three round tiers of tightly rolled pink diapers. Add a thick satin ribbon around the middle of each tier and tie it in a small bow. Stack large, medium and small tiers together to create a tall cake shape, and add another bow to the top for a fancy accent.

    Giant Bottle

    • Create a baby shower centerpiece that also serves as a party-game prize to help save money. A giant pink novelty baby bottle with a large white bow around the neck provides a decorative centerpiece base. Fill the bottle with pink and white jellybeans to make a sweet prize. You can also use layered floral kitchen towels, pink paper confetti and floral hot pads inside the bottle.

    Sock Roses

    • Twist baby socks on decorative stems to provide a floral bouquet for a baby-girl centerpiece with a delicate style. For each "rose," use a single pink or white baby sock rolled from toe to opening with the middle of the roll sticking up. Secure the bottom of each rose to a green wire stem with green floral tape. Slide the delicate sock roses into a fluted glass vase filled with fake baby's breath to create a traditional bouquet design.
