Getting Rid Of Pimples
For example, do you want your potential boss staring at that zit during a job interview? Or, do you want to explain the pimple at the end of your nose before your prom? No way! But what can you do to get rid of it fast?
This is when you have to become an expert on how to remove zits quickly. The key is to not make the situation worse than it already is. Be careful! If you do it wrong, the zit can turn into a nightmarish bright red blotch that will rival Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer!
Luckily for you, I have some tips to pop that zit the right way so it doesn't bother you any more. First, it's important to apply warm moisture to the affected area. This can help alleviate any future scarring as a result of popping the zit.
To do this easily, press a cloth soaked in warm water to the affected area until it feels looser. Even though this is the easiest method, you can also try steaming your face.
To do this, carefully lean over a pot of boiling water. Use a towel on your head to trap the steam next to the affected area. After you apply warm moisture, put a cotton ball or sterile toilet paper on the affected skin.
Carefully squeeze the zit at its base so that the pus can drain out. While you do this, make sure that the pus doesn't touch any other part of your skin, or you might spread icky bacteria to other places. After a while, the harder center of the zit should also drain.
It's important to resist the temptation to wipe the zit. Remember, you don't want to spread germs. If it's still oozing and/or bleeding, don't worry. Just carefully disinfect the zit with soap and water. Pat at it; don't rub!
Pat it with a clean towel to dry. Lastly, you might want to apply some alcohol to the zit to make the irritation less noticeable. If you do this whole process at the last minute, you might not have the chance to let the area completely heal on its own.
But you still want to look presentable. It's okay to use some water-based concealer, but only do this if you have to leave your house. The best thing to do is stay at home and let it heal. If you must wear make-up, water-based make-ups are much better than oil-based make-ups.
Also stay away from anything that will scratch or irritate the area. In short, only try to pop zits if you need to quickly take action. These steps can help you out, but it's always the best thing to just let the acne run its course and heal on its own.
