How to Clean UV Film Covered Windows

    • 1). Place one or more sponges or soft cloths in a 5-gallon bucket. Fill the bucket at least half full of water.

    • 2). Add a couple of tablespoons of mild dish-washing soap to the water. Use hand dishwashing soap--dishwasher formulas may be too strong. Squeeze some of the soapy water from a sponge or cloth.

    • 3). Wipe the sponge or cloth over the window, from top to bottom. Follow with a clean squeegee, gently gliding it down the top of one area of the window to the bottom. Wipe off the squeegee and continue until you've used it on the whole UV film-covered window.

    • 4). Dump out the contents of the bucket when you are through cleaning. Refill it with clean water. Use a soft cloth soaked in the water to gently rinse the windows.

    • 5). Use your squeegee on the windows again. Dry the windows with a soft, clean towels.
