Remote Controlled Cars - Big Thrills in Miniature
Are you one of the millions who love racing radio controlled cars? If you're not, it's something that you should seriously take a look at.
It's an absolute hoot! Motor sport (Indianapolis, Grand Prix etc) is one of the last sports strongholds that men can still call their own.
Yes, there are plenty of women interested in it too, but predominantly it's a male orientated thing.
But haven't you also had a hankering for driving one of those mean machines? I know that most guys have; but short of getting a day out on one of those entertainment race car circuits, that's as close as most of us ever get to it.
Unless you're into owning and driving remote controlled cars, and in particular RC gas cars.
Now don't chuckle; if you've never done it, you've no idea of what you're missing.
It's totally amazing.
A lot of us first get hooked when we're kids and we get our first remote controlled car as a birthday present from mom and dad.
It's one of those gifts that you play with a couple of times and then forget about it and hide it away in the cupboard, or you get totally caught up in it, hook line and sinker.
If you're anything like me, it's the latter, and I'm now in my forties and still enjoying it as much as ever; no, probably even more if the truth be known.
You see, you can go and get competitive, and start racing RC cars.
But be warned because before you know it you'll be living, eating and breathing RC gas car racing.
When you're not tuning up the car and trying to figure out how to get that little bit extra out of it, you'll be looking forward to the next race and trying to sort out your tactics to be first to the checkered flag.
Racing remote controlled cars has turned into a big thing these days, and not just in the US.
There are enthusiasts all over the world.
It's got to be RC gas cars of course because that's where you can get the power and the speed.
