As we view our list of Resolutions, one item at the top of the list should be Safety, Safety and Safety, think Safety for 2012.
Whether our children are out of school and home alone and you are still at work, to insure they are home safely, as parents we need to keep them protected at all times.
As our bodies require exercise for maintenance so does our family members and personal properties that are important to us.
Exercise Wisdom in protecting the people and personal possessions we enjoy having in our lives.
Put your mind at ease and safeguard our children playing at the Park or outside our homes, stranger approaching our front door, protect and prevent by utilizing and implementing a safety approach.
As parents we never outgrow or never become passe with the constant concern for the Safety of our children despite our age.
I can recall as a child I would frequently say to my parents, 'I am going outside to play with my friends' and the general response would be, 'That's fine'.
Today I am certain most parents would pause upon hearing that request and ask a litany of questions before giving an ok.
Although our Society is changing, we can still provide a sense of safety for our children and a peace of mind for ourselves.
There are numerous gadgets of digital video recording or complete surveillance systems available, however these are not a cure-all.
However having a safety device allows you to observe your child/ren as they enjoy the outdoors with their friends and maintain their independence.
Additionally the benefits and rewards are endless, having some form of a safety or surveillance system not only provides an extension of your presence in viewing your children at leisure but functions as an effective deterrent for unwanted entry when home is unoccupied, on vacation and for business after hours and weekends.
