Hi, my name is Manna Kadar, founder of Manna Kadar Cosmetics. And today, we're going to talk about adverse reactions or irritations after using a tanning bed. In a tanning salon, it;s very important to make sure that the tanning salon is clean and has a really high sanitation standard. So, if you do have some type of reaction after a tanning salon visit. You want to make sure even before you visit the tanning salon, to do your research and due diligence on the salon itself. Salon cleanliness is one of the most important things and is often times, if a salon is not sanitized properly. Is the reason why someone may have an adverse reaction or an irritation after using a tanning bed. Also, please make sure to fill out the client skin analysis form. This allows the tanning technician to really guide you on how long you should be tanning in the tanning bed. And will result in a very safe tan and will also make sure that you do not burn in the tanning bed. That is not the idea behind a tanning bed, is to burn, it's to gradually build color in a safe environment. And also, make sure to look at the list of medications that can actually cause an adverse reaction when combined with UV rays. Many medications such as medications for skin, skin care and acne and also various allergies. When used or combined with UV rays can cause adverse skin reactions. So please make sure to read through the list thoroughly as perhaps you maybe taking one of those medications and can be prone to giving yourself some type of adverse skin reaction. And lastly, make sure to check your allergies. A lot of different tanning lotion themselves may have things such as nut oils or other things that you maybe allergic to. So, make sure to check for labels of tanning lotions to ensure that you do not have any type of adverse skin reactions.
