Inserting the SD Memory Card

• 1). Turn the power to the Kindle off.
  
  
• 2). Turn the Kindle over so the back is facing up.
  
  
• 3). Slide the back cover off by pressing it and sliding it to the right.
  
  
• 4). Insert the SD memory card into the SD memory card slot on the right side of the Kindle. The label of the card should be facing up. When it is fully inserted, it will click into place.
  
  
• 5). Replace the back cover. Slide it to the left and press down until it snaps into place.
  
  
• 6). Turn the power to the Kindle on.
  
  

Transferring Books to an SD Card

• 1). Press the "Home" key.
  
  
• 2). Select "Menu."
  
  
• 3). Select "Content Manager."
  
  
• 4). Select the books you wish to download to the SD card by pressing the check box next to each book.
  
  
• 5). Select "Menu." Select "Move to SD Memory Card." The selected books are downloaded onto the SD memory card.
