    • The Y peeler is also known as a yoke peeler, rex or speed peeler and it works like a manual razor in shaving skin from vegetables. It's suitable for peeling carrots and zucchini.

    Lancashire

    • Lancashire peelers are suitable for thick-skinned vegetables like potatoes and turnips. You hold the vegetable in one hand and peel by moving the blade toward you.

    All-in-One

    • The all-in-one peeler is a gadget with an adjustable head that can be used as either a "Y" peeler or Lancashire peeler by the twist of a knob, depending on your preference.

    Electric

    • Electric peelers are beneficial if you have a large quantity of vegetables like potatoes to peel. They come with an assortment of steel blades and feature a powerful motor.
