    Removal

    • 1). Apply a thin layer of duct tape to the blade end of a flat-head screwdriver to protect the car’s interior trim.

    • 2). Pry around the perimeter of the dashboard bezel — the trim panel surrounding the radio and climate controls — using a flat-head screwdriver to disengage its retaining clips. Pull the bezel off the dashboard.

    • 3). Remove the two radio-retaining screws using a ratchet a 9/32-inch socket. Slide the radio out of the dashboard until you can reach the radio’s wiring on its rear.

    • 4). Press and hold the unlocking button on the radio’s wiring harness and pull the harness from the radio with a slight wiggling motion. Pull the antenna wire from the rear of the radio. Remove the radio from the vehicle.

    Installation

    • 1). Press the wiring harness into its receptacle until you hear it click into place. Plug the metal end of the antenna wire into its receptacle on the rear of the radio.

    • 2). Slide the radio into the dashboard and tighten the two radio-retaining screws with a ratchet and 9/32-inch socket.

    • 3). Set the dash bezel over the radio and climate-control knobs, lining up the clips on the rear of the bezel with the slots in the dashboard. Press the bezel onto the dashboard to snap all of the retaining clips into place.
