How to Make a Fabric Wig

    • 1). Put a netted fabric cap on a Styrofoam mannequin head.

    • 2). Comb out one track of human hair weave to remove all knots. Apply a line of hair glue along the track. Place it on the netted fabric cap at the bottom back of the cap and press it in place.

    • 3). Use a blow dryer set to high heat near the weave to thoroughly dry the hair glue.

    • 4). Continue gluing tracks of hair around the perimeter of the netted fabric cap. Glue each track so the hair appears to grow toward the edge of the cap. For example, when gluing hair on the front, it should be growing toward the face, and on the sides it should grow down over the ears.

    • 5). Place another hair track approximately one half inch above the first hair track and glue in place. Continue gluing hair around the netted fabric cap in a circular style until the cap is filled with hair.

    • 6). Glue one track of hair growing down toward the back at the crown, and glue one track growing toward the front of the wig.

    • 7). Cut and style the hair in the style you wish.
