    • 1). Start your computer while holding down the "F8" key.

    • 2). Select the "Safe Mode" option so you can boot into your computer.

    • 3). Click the "Start" button and then click "All Programs."

    • 4). Click the "Accessories" button and then right-click the "Command Prompt" icon.

    • 5). Select the "Run as administrator" tab from the menu and enter your administrator password if you are prompted.

    • 6). Type "sfc /scannow" into the Command Prompt and press the "Enter" key.

    • 7). Wait for the file checker to replace your PCI.sys file with the correct version.

    • 8). Restart your system.
