Mobile Home Models & Styles
- The standard, or cottage style, mobile home is a basic rectangle design that is a single-wide or double-wide model. A single-wide, standard box mobile home is usually 18 feet wide and up to 90 feet long, while a double-wide mobile home is generally 36 feet wide and up to 90 feet long. A cottage style home can have two, three or four bedrooms and one to several bathrooms.
- Victorian style mobile homes include different models. A Victorian mobile home usually has two stories with large pillars or columns in the front. The second story commonly has two bedrooms and a bathroom, while the lower level has living and kitchen areas as well as the master bedroom.
- The ranch style mobile home is designed to resemble a home found on most ranches in the southern United States. It usually has a large front porch or surrounding porch. Ranch style homes are typically single-story or two-story, with a number of bedrooms and bathrooms.
- The log style mobile home is commonly seen in camping areas or country settings. Most log style mobile homes use imitation logs on the exterior. A log style home can be single-story or two-story and comes with a variety of bedrooms and bathrooms.
