    • 1). Remove the toilet and any other fixtures that can be removed. Get the bathroom floor completely clean and dry.

    • 2). Set one of your vinyl floor boards alongside the starting wall.

    • 3). Connect additional boards to the end along the wall putting plastic shams between the planks in the wall. Use a razor knife and straight edge to cut the vinyl planks at the end of the course as needed.

    • 4). Install the subsequent courses in the same manner, linking them to the previous course by the fittings along the sides. Make sure to stagger the ends of the boards so they don't line up between courses.

    • 5). Work your way across the hall floor, using your razor knife to cut around the toilet drain and other obstructions.

    • 6). Cut the final course of boards lengthwise, so that they fit against the final wall, leaving about 1/4 inch of space.

    • 7). Install floor trim around the perimeter of the bathroom floor with a nail gun to hide the gaps at the edges and hold down the sides of the floor.
