How to Bake With a Silicone Muffin Pan
- 1). Preheat the oven to a setting between 300 and 400 degrees F. The exact temperature depends on the muffin recipe.
- 2). Place the silicone muffin pan onto a cookie sheet. The cookie sheet makes it easier to handle the muffin pan without spilling the batter.
- 3). Coat the muffin pan with a thin layer of cooking spray.
- 4). Prepare the muffin recipe and fill the muffin pan's cups according to the instructions. Bake in the oven for the time specified on the recipe.
- 5). Use potholders to protect your hands when you remove the muffin pan from the oven. Allow the muffins to cool for 25 minutes.
- 6). Place two fingers beneath one of the muffin cups and press upward to pop the muffin out of the silicone pan. Repeat this process with the rest of the muffins.
- 7). Wash the silicone pan gently in warm water and dish soap. Allow it to air dry before next use.
