Eurail Train Pass: Eurail Spain-Portugal Pass
The Eurail Spain-Portugal Pass is for people who will just be traveling to Spain and Portugal on their vacation, while the Saverpass version is for those traveling with a partner. Information on the Spain-Portugal Pass and the Spain-Portugal Saverpass.

A long journey in Spain (for example from Granada to Barcelona or Valencia to Santiago de Compostela) will cost about 50€-90€ ($65-$118). Prices in Portugal are similar to in Spain or a little cheaper. Note that these are the prices for very long journeys. The majority of your travel will cost less than this. To make ten journeys each costing more than 33€ in Spain and Portugal is difficult. Then buy the appropriate ticket with just enough days to cover your most expensive journeys and buy the rest of your tickets on the day.
You need to reserve your seat on Spanish trains, which adds to your travel costs. Reservations in other countries aren't always necessary but they are often advisable.
