How to Flush Out Earwax
- 1). Apply two drops of baby oil into the ear canal using an eyedropper twice per day for three days before flushing the ear out. This will help to soften the earwax for easier removal.
- 2). Fill a large bowl with warm water.
- 3). Lay a towel near the sink within arms' reach.
- 4). Fill the bulb syringe with warm water by squeezing the bulb and then placing it into the water bowl. Gently releasing the pressure on the bulb syringe, which will fill the syringe. Pull the filled syringe out of the water.
- 5). Bend over the sink with your head tilted sideways. This will help the water to drip out of the ear during the flushing process.
- 6). Position the tip of the water filled bulb syringe at the opening of your ear and depress the bulb. This will disperse the water into the ear and flush the earwax out into the sink.
- 7). Continue refilling the bulb syringe with warm water and gently flushing the ear until all earwax is removed.
- 8). Use the towel to dry your ear thoroughly.
