You have just heard the words "its over" and it has left you totally immobilized.
Your pain is greater than a fractured bone.
Your grief is a weight that tries to keep you from moving.
Your heart is shattered but for public and social reasons you must wear your "happy face".
Your mind re-plays the event over and over, the things that you wish you would have said or done.
At the core of your being you know one thing to be true - you want to get back together with your ex! Here are a few suggestions of what NOT to do to improve your opportunity to get your ex boyfriend back when he broke up with you.
1) Do Not Do Anything Irrational As appealing of a thought as it may be to do potential or possible harm to yourself or your ex DON'T DO IT! There is nothing attractive about someone out of control.
It will certainly destroy all chances of reconciliation because you take things to such extremes.
Such radical behavior indicates to your ex how unstable you are and justifies the break-up in their mind.
So leave the drugs and other harmful stuff and actions alone - this type of behavior is totally counterproductive to your goal of getting him back.
2) Do Not Play Games If the idea of trying to make him jealous has crept its way into your thought cycle, SEND IT BACK! Playing games with someone else's emotions is just wrong - even if your emotions are feeling pretty beat up right now.
If you are truly serious on making the relationship better, then you need to be willing to self-reflect on what really went wrong - because that is really what needs to be fixed or the relationship is doomed to the same ill fate.
3) Avoid the Vindictive Arguments As hurt as you are right now and want the other person to feel your pain, remember misery loves company, so HOLD YOUR TONGUE! Words do hurt, just look at your pain from what was said at the time of the break up.
Giving into your anger and lashing out just to hurt the person is only going to cause serious harm and permanent credibility damage to any chance of getting your ex boyfriend back.
Give yourself a cooling down period so you can get your thoughts straight and a plan of action in place.
