Guide Review - Tasting Notes and Review of Scotland's Terror from Swashbuckler Brewing Company

Scotland's Terror pours with a dark brown/copper body and a thin tan head. The nose is sweet with a tangy edge displaying hints of brown sugar and dried fruit.

The flavor is difficult to pin down. It starts with a malty sweetness and thick, almost silky mouthfeel. This blends with a tangy, fruity complexity that is apparent along with hints of alcohol warming. Scotland's Terror may be tough to describe but it's easy to sip.
