Get band 7 in IELTS exam
Students attempting the IELTS exams attempt to get a band 7 in the exam so that they can get into a good college or university, but it is not easy to get this score especially for the people who study English as a second language.
I have been teaching belts for the last 3 years and I have some tips for students attempting this exam.
1. Learn the tenses
You should know your tenses. If you don't know your tenses you will be in big trouble and the only way to know your tenses is to memorize them. If you are able to improve your tenses you will be able to speak correct English.
2. Grammar book
Buy a grammar book and read the grammatical rules and try to apply them. It can be difficult to read all of them but you should read as many you can. Keep the grammar book with you and consult it when necessary.
3. Maximum exposure
Increase your exposure with the English language. Try to speak English, read English newspapers, write articles, read grammar book, surf the internet and watch English movies.
4. Tuition
Try to get tuition from a good tuition center, and if it is possible learn IELTS tips and techniques from a Native English Speaker. You should dedicate at least 2 months for the IELTS exam preparation.
5. Take it easy
I know people who were really good in English but still did not do well on the ielts exam. The main reason was that they were unable to handle the pressure. It is true that the IELTS is important but you should not be so nervous that it could affect your performance.
The best thing about IELTS is that you can never fail it. If you are not satisfied with you score or band you can attempt it again and aim for a higher score. And more thing Good luck!
