    • 1). Cover the surface with a drop cloth. Using a paintbrush, paint the paper plate the same color as your cardstock and let it dry.

    • 2). Cut a 3-by-3-inch square of bubble wrap and dip it in another paint color. Stamp the bubble wrap onto the outside of the dry paper plate and the cardstock, creating your own designs. Let dry.

    • 3). Cut a dinosaur head, tail, and four legs from the dried card stock. Punch a small hole at the top of each of the legs.

    • 4). Fold the paper plate in half, like a taco. Unfold the plate. At the crease, mark four holes where you want to position the dinosaur feet. Use a hole punch or a screwdriver to create small holes.

    • 5). Insert one end of a rubber band through the leg hole. Then take both ends and insert through a crease hole and tie together securely. Repeat for the other legs.

    • 6). Fold the plate back in half and staple shut at the top edge. Slide the dinosaur head in between the plate fold and staple to secure. Or to create a moving dinosaur head, punch holes in the neck and the corresponding section of plate. Insert a brad through the holes to secure. Attach the dinosaur tail in the same way, on the opposite side of the plate.
