How to Make Realistic Origami Planes
- 1). Take a sheet of paper and fold it from the middle. It should leave a crease mark, right through the middle of the sheet. Open the paper and flatten it out with your hands.
- 2). Work from the top of the sheet and fold the right side of the paper in. The top edge must now rest on the middle crease of the paper. Repeat the same procedure for the left side of the paper. It should look like a triangle placed on top of a square.
- 3). Fold the edges of the paper again. Repeat the earlier procedure and make the edges on either side overlap with the crease at the middle.
- 4). Flip the paper over once the top part is folded. Use your hands to flatten the paper so that it becomes easier to carry on with the origami work. You now have two wings for your paper plane.
- 5). Fold both the wings into half and align the edges with the middle crease. Work quickly to flatten the entire plane with your hands. Let the last fold open up. You should now have a flat surface with the cockpit on the opposite edge.
- 6). Hold the plane horizontally by the cockpit and glide it into the air. Give it a gentle push, rather than thrusting it away.
