There are many comments which can be made about this product, both positive and negative, as I've been using it myself for the last few years, however, I'd say the majority of them are positive.
Firstly let me state, that I've been suffering from acne for the last ten years.
On the whole, it hasn't been terrible, and I count my blessings, as it could have been far worse, but it's still been an issue to me, and something that I wanted to get rid of, and banished from my life forever.
During this period of time, I've tried a variety of products, but I've never really seen the results I wanted, or felt happy whilst using them.
I've tried everything from different face washes, to creams and gels, I stopped at taking actual medication as I'm not a fan of relying on medication in general, and as previously stated, whilst acne has been a problem in my life, it's not something that was that much of an issue so as for me to need to take drugs to cure.
After a while trying out the different acne products, and after quite a bit of money being spent (acne products don't come cheap), and feeling slightly disheartened to be honest due to the lack of results, I'd almost given up, until I came across an advert in a magazine for the Panoxyl Bar 10.
I'd heard about the product before, but at the time I was always using another product, so would put it in the back of my mind to remember for later, and then typically I'd forget all about it.
Anyway, at this point, I wasn't using an acne product, so I saw the advert, and went to the shops a couple of hours later to pick it up.
Now, they state that it can get rid of acne within a few weeks, something I'd heard a lot of times before by other acne products, but I'm glad to say that I actually started to notice results after only a few days use, using it twice a day for roughly twenty seconds each time, once in the morning when I woke up, and once again before bed in the evening.
The active ingredient in the Panoxyl Bar 10% is Benzoyl Peroxide, which is thought to be one of the best ways to get rid of acne as it kills the acne causing bacteria.
I'd heard of possible side effects of using Benzoyl Peroxide based products, normally that it is very drying, and I found this to be the case when using the Panoxyl Bar 10.
After a few days use, my skin was notable drier, feeling tighter a few minutes after washing, but this wasn't such a problem as I normally moisturise anyway, therefore gaining the moisture back into my skin.
A few days after use, I noticed that the breakouts I had on both cheeks had started to reduce in size, and after just a week, they were pretty much gone.
The same results were found when used on my neck, just under my jaw line, and also on my back.
These did take slightly longer to clear, but after a couple of weeks use, they were pretty much non-existent as well.
Overall, I'm extremely impressed by the product, not only for it's effectiveness, but also for how little it actually costs when compared to other products of this type.
The only negative I can say about it is the drying out it may cause to your skin, but I feel as though this is a small price to pay to clear your skin, and this can easily be resolved by using a good moisturiser after using the face wash.
I honestly can't rate this product enough.
