    • 1). Place half of the melt and pour soap base into a mixing bowl, then cover the bowl with plastic wrap. (The plastic wrap prevents moisture from escaping the bowl when you heat your base.)

    • 2). Microwave the covered bowl on high for 1 minute.

    • 3). Uncover the bowl and add the remaining soap base.

    • 4). Stir until all the soap base is melted.

    • 5). Add 1 tbsp. bamboo charcoal powder and 1 oz. lavender essential oil. Stir these ingredients until they are thoroughly integrated into the soap base.

    • 6). Carefully pour the liquefied soap into a soap mold.

    • 7). Spray the exposed soap with rubbing alcohol to prevent air bubbles from forming in your soap.

    • 8). Allow the soap to harden in the mold for several hours. Once it has hardened, remove it from the mold and use immediately or wrap in plastic wrap to store for later use.
