H1N1 and Smoking!

103 4
Hi Folks, No one has yet accumulated any data linking smoking and H1N1 to my knowledge.
My analysis is as follows: 1.
Smoking is a very very dangerous habit.
There is no doubt about that.
2.
Smoking causes a deterioration of your cells which, over time, negatively affect your immune system within your body.
Conclusion It would seem to me that if your immune system is compromised by smoking - would it not infer that the H1N1 virus would be better able to attack your body? Do not get me wrong here.
I am not a professional health care person and my conclusion is not clinically proven yet.
We will see eventually I'm sure..
I have been smoking for 35 miserable years.
You must understand that I speak from experience about stopping smoking.
I lost my lower legs from smoking and subsequently began to suffer from congestive heart failure.
Neither of these problems made me stop smoking.
Subsequent to having my legs amputated.
I tired several times to quit smoking.
Without success.
I began to study the problem in depth and have discovered a secret to quitting that will be revealed to all smokers eventually.
Smoking cigarettes is the worst pandemic in the real world.
Just think about it - 443,000 Americans will be killed of smoking related illnesses each and every year.
On the other hand - this year only about 4,000 will be killed by the H1N1 virus.
Which pandemic do you think is worse? It doesn't take a genius to figure it out - Does it?.
And the media attention toward stopping smoking is minimal versus the attention given to H1N1.
Why does the media not care about the people who die every year from smoking?..
What is wrong with the media? The only mention of it, I ever see on television, is the advertising for those stupid substitutes for stopping smoking.
You do not need substitutes..
They only extend your addiction.
They do not stop your addiction.
How can they? They contain nicotine which is the drug you are addicted to.
Dumb don't you think? See you next time!
