Other features include multilingual support and e-mail intergration, allowing you to easily e-mail information about a task to anyone in your contact book. TaskJot Pro also offers two-way syncing with an account on toodledo.com, allowing you to make changes to your tasks from any computer with an internet connection. ToDoMatrix Professional

• ToDoMatrix Professional offers all of the features of TaskJot Pro along with advanced BlackBerry integration and task delegation. Like TaskJot Pro, ToDoMatrix Professional utilizes a folder-based user interface. ToDoMatrix Professional also supports free two-way syncing with an online task repository, REX Desktop, for six months. After the first six months, users must subscribe to the REX Desktop service. Even if you don't opt for the REX Desktop service, your tasks will be automatically backed up on ToDoMatrix servers, allowing you to access them on a replacement BlackBerry if your phone is ever lost, damaged or stolen. ToDoMatrix's advanced BlackBerry integration allows you to easily inject new tasks into the program through the BlackBerry e-mail, calendar or messaging applications. You can also create new tasks by sending yourself a specifically formatted e-mail. ToDoMatrix's most innovative feature is a delegation framework, allowing you to delegate tasks to other people while still tracking those tasks. Alarm features include three alerts per item, regenerative alarms and a "delay all alerts" function. A free 14-day trial is available on ToDoMatrix's website. • NextAction! Professional Edition forgoes ToDoMatrix's advanced integration and delegation frameworks and instead features more robust desktop and wireless syncing capabilities, recorded tasks and someday/maybe lists. This software is designed to sync with desktop applications in the same way as BlackBerry's native application. It also offers wireless data sync over the BlackBerry enterprise network. The task management framework has specific lists for optional tasks, called someday/maybe lists. NextAction! Professional Edition also allows the user to record voice notes as tasks, saving the time that would be required to type in details for new tasks. NextAction! offers a trial of their standard edition software from its website. The professional edition, which is compatible with most BlackBerrys running OS 4.2 or higher, sells for $99.95.
