How to Create Floral Arrangement in a Tower Vase
- 1). Separate the flowers into three equal piles. Use a pair of kitchen shears to trim the stems so there's a long-stem pile, a medium-stem pile and a shorter-stem pile. Be sure not to cut the stems shorter than the height of the vase.
- 2). Place the long-stem flowers into the tower vase first. They should gather evenly to fill the middle of the vase. Follow with the medium-stem blooms, surrounding the long-stem ones and trapping them in the middle. Use the short-stem flowers for the outer layer of the vase.
- 3). Use your fingers to carefully separate any flowers that have clumped too close together, going around the entire circumference of the vase and evening out the spacing of the floral arrangement. When the floral arrangement is in place, tie a matching colored ribbon around the vase, securing it with a bow. Beautiful!
