Erie is the fourth-largest city in Pennsylvania. Situated on Lake Erie, there are several art programs and museums that provide classes for toddlers in this area. Toddlers are children in the age range of 1 to almost 4 years old. According to the website India Parenting.com, exposure to art early in a child's life helps him develop crucial motor skills and a sense of creativity. - The Erie Art Museum has a program called First Fridays, which meets from 10 to11 a.m. the first Friday of every month. It's a special program for 3- to 6-year-old children and their families. Museum staff lead adults and kids through one of the exhibits using stories, songs and art. Cost is $5 per child and free to those with museum memberships.
