Georgia Early Voting Instructions
- 1). Register to vote by filling out a Voter Registration Application. These forms can be downloaded from the secretary of state's election division. You can also pick up one of these forms in person at your county's registrar's office, public library, public assistance office or public school. College students can pick up a voter registration application at their schools registrar's office. Colleges keep forms for every state on hand for their students. Registration is offered when you apply for or renew your Georgia Driver's License.
- 2). Call your county registrar's office to find the early voting location in your area. This information is also listed on the Georgia secretary of state's website under "Elections."
- 3). Go to the location where the early voting has been set up.
- 4). Fill out an early voter application.
- 5). Present the application and valid identification to the poll worker. A valid ID would include: voter ID card, Georgia driver's license, government ID, passport, tribal photo ID or military photo ID.
- 6). Cast your vote.
