Hi, my name is Jennifer Shin. I'm the Founder and Principal Consultant of 8 Path Solutions LLC. And today, I'm going to show you how to reduce the file size of the Microsoft SQL log. To do this, you want to open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. Log into the server that you want to access. When, once it's opened, go to the database folder, go to the database you want to shrink the log size for and right click on that database. Then, select tasks, shrink, files and under file type, select logs, reorganize pages before releasing unused space. So, you want to select shrink file to and enter the amount of megabytes you want to allow and then click okay.
