How to Change the Password on an iPad

1). Tap "Settings" on the iPad's Home screen.
2). Tap "General" to open a new the options menu.
3). Tap "Passcode Lock." A prompt asking for your current password opens.
4). Enter your current password. The "Passcode Lock" menu's options appear.
5). Tap "Change Passcode." A security prompt asking for your current password opens.
6). Enter the current password. A new prompt asking for a new password opens.
7). Enter the new password. A prompt asking you to re-enter the new password opens.
8). Enter the new password again to finish changing your iPad's password.
