    • 1). Remove the old stereo. Remove the two Phillips screws securing the plastic panel above the radio next to the air conditioner vent levers. Pull the plastic panel away from the dashboard. Remove the 7 millimeter bolt screws securing the radio in place with the socket wrench. Pull the radio out of the housing in the dashboard. Disconnect the wire harness by pressing the tab on the side and pulling the connections apart. Unplug the black radio antenna cable. Place the old stereo to one side.

    • 2). Attach the face plate adapter in the slot vacated by the old radio. Click the faceplate adapter into place and secure it with the 7mm bolt screws.

    • 3). Connect the wiring. Attach the wire harness adapter to the wire harness of the car. Push the connections into place until they click. Attach the other end of the wire harness to the wire harness on the aftermarket stereo. Plug the black radio antenna into the radio antenna port on the back of the aftermarket stereo.

    • 4). Slide the radio into the portal on the face plate adapter. Push it as far back as it will go, taking care not to trap any of the wires. Reattach the plastic dash panel covering the radio and air conditioning controls. Turn the radio on to test the installation.
