3 Ways to Save Money on a Date
With all this happening around you, how can you cut cost in the dating scene? You still want to go on dates right? So how do you have a good time while curbing your spending? The following are some suggestions.
Watch a movie at home Instead of going to the movies, where you have you fork out money for tickets, popcorn and soda, how about renting a movie and watching it at home? You will only spend on the DVD rental (which is cheaper compared to ticket prices) and some chips and cola that you can get at a much cheaper price compared to the concession stand at the theaters.
Plus, you'll be in a more romantic venue, as it'll only be the two of you, compared to being in a cinema with other people.
How romantic is that? Go to the park! Yes, what better way to spend time together than in Mother Nature's splendor? There are so many things you can do at the park.
If you are both health conscious you can go for a brisk walk, or go jogging together.
Or you could go in-line skating, if you prefer.
If you don't want to be too sweaty, you can bring a football or a Frisbee and toss that around.
That would be great fun! If you're not into getting into a sweat at all, maybe you'd like to consider a picnic.
You don't need to bring extravagant food as simple home prepared food can be just as delicious in a romantic setting under a great big shady tree.
Remember to bring a mat or something to sit on to make it more comfortable.
You could read a book or two, or recite love poems to each other.
Splendid! And it won't cost an arm and a leg! If a picnic sounds too much trouble, then just go for a walk and enjoy each other's company.
Sit at a park bench and feed the birds or the ducks.
Find the hot dog man and get some hot dogs.
This is definitely cheap, yet romantic enough to make some awesome memories together.
Go to the museum or the art gallery This is another suggestion that won't burn a hole through your pocket.
Some places are free while some charge a very minimal fee.
If both of you are art enthusiasts you'll find hours of fun at these types of places.
If both love animals, go to the zoo instead!
