I have written a few articles dealing with nutrition in general.

that is a very good thing. Whey also is naturally very low in
fats and carbs which is also beneficial.

The reason is that whey has been found, from many studies, to
rapidly increase the speed of muscle growth when bodybuilding.
Combine whey protein in your diet with a good bodybuilding
program, and you will have dramatic results. I have incorporated
it into my diet and have been very happy with the results. I am
also lucky that I am not lactose intolerant.
3. Whey is also a guard against many degenerative diseases.
Diseases such as diabetes, cancer, etc. I didn't know that. I
know most bodybuilders aren't real concerned about these
diseases, but they should be. Everybody should be. They can
strike anybody at anytime. Just because you might be younger and
in great physical shape from working out does not protect you
from and disease striking. Add this factor to the increased
muscle growth and I believe we have a winner.

Lets say you tear or pull a muscle with your lifting program.
Whey will help you to recover and heal faster. It might also help
you prevent an injury to start with. That is a blessing. Lifters
and fitness buffs get injured all the time.

regular grocery stores are carrying it now. A word of caution
though, be careful how much you take in. More isn't always
better. Whey can cause problems in large amounts. Specifically to
the liver over time. If you are a lactose intolerant individual,
you should not take whey protein. I believe there is a form of
whey protein you can take if lactose intollerant. You could
search it out online or consult your doctor.
