    Soil Treatment

    • 1). Mix 100 to 200 ml of seasol to 9 liters of water in a watering can.

    • 2). Spray or pour the mixture over soil at least two weeks before planting. Use seasol as you would water when applying to the soil. Pour over the soil until it no longer absorbs the solution. Turn the soil to mix the solution thoroughly.

    • 3). Repeat the application one week later and again at planting.

    Large Trees and Stressed Plants

    • 1). Mix 100 to 200 ml of seasol concentrate to 9 liters of water.

    • 2). Apply a first application to the soil. Add as you would water, so that the soil is moist but not soaked. This first application should be more than twice the normal rate and is only intended for the first few applications. Regular application rates for large trees are 100 to 200 ml of seasol per 9 liters of water. This means for large or stressed trees you apply 200 to 400 milliliters for the first application. For stressed plants, the rate is 40 to 100 ml of seasol per 9 liters of water. For stressed plants, this means you will mix 80 to 200 milliliters to 9 liters of water for the first application.

    • 3). Repeat the double strength application one week later.

    • 4). Scale back application rates weekly until you reach the normal rate of seasol to 9 liters of water.

    • 5). Apply seasol at regular rates to the soil around the tree or plant every two to four weeks.

    Lawns

    • 1). Mix 50 to 100ml seasol to 9 liters of water in a watering can.

    • 2). Spray the solution over your lawn. A sprayer is the easiest method for lawn application but a simple spray bottle or watering can will work as well for spot applications. 9 liters of diluted seasol covers about 2 to 4 square meters of lawn.

    • 3). Repeat application of diluted seasol biweekly or monthly.

Potted Plants, Transplanting, Seedlings, and Bonsai

    • 1). Mix 25 ml of seasol to 9 liters of water in a watering can.

    • 2). Pour the solution onto the soil around the plant at planting. Pour into the soil as you would when watering. When the soil no longer absorbs the solution, lift the pot and take away any solution that has drained through the pot. Do not allow plants to sit in standing solution. Turn the soil to mix thoroughly and then proceed with planting.

    • 3). Repeat one week later for transplanting and seedlings.

    • 4). Repeat every two to four weeks after the first two applications.

Vegetables, Herbs, Annuals, Perennials, Roses and Shrubs

    • 1). Mix 30 ml seasol to 9 liters of water in a watering can.

    • 2). Pour the mixture over the soil around the plants.

    • 3). Repeat the application every two to four weeks.
