Making Room at Meals for Fish Oil

One of the most common complaints that I get from my kids about fish oil supplements is that they are just a pain in the neck.
I know, I know: it can be pretty hard to take that five seconds to swallow your fish oil supplements at each meal.
But for some reason, my kids just hate that process.
I have no idea why, but I get so tired of having the argument.
So I talked to our doctor to see if there was a good solution.
He told me that I could start by using a supplement that did not require so many doses per day.
While a lot of off-the-shelf fish oil supplements require you to take six or more capsules per day in order to get enough omega 3s in your diet.
However, there are supplements that you can take only once or twice a day.
I have to say, giving the kids a daily supplement with their vitamins in the morning and then not having to talk about it again would really be great.
I did some looking around online and I found out that one of the most common misconceptions about omega 3 fatty acids is that any fish oil at all is good for getting them.
In reality, they are most concentrated in salmon oil and there are supplements out there that are "molecularly optimized" to make sure that every single fatty acid in that supplement is the best and optimal form of omega 3 for people.
