How to Lock Folders With MS-DOS
- 1). Find the name of the folder you wish to lock.
- 2). Press the "Windows" key on your keyboard, and type "cmd" into the "Search programs and files box" and hit "Enter" to enter MS-DOS.
- 3). Type "ren c:\example folder example folder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}," replacing "example folder" with the name of your folder, and hit "Enter." Your folder is now locked.
- 4). Type "ren c:\example folder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} example folder," replacing "example folder" with the name of your folder, and hit "Enter" to unlock your folder.
