Homemade Ways to Get Lighter Skin
- Mix 1 tbsp. of sandalwood powder, 1 tsp. of lemon juice, 1 tsp. of tomato juice, and 1 tsp. of cucumber juice in a bowl. Stir the mixture into a paste and apply it on your skin. Leave the mixture on your skin until it dries, then wash it off with lukewarm water. Mix and use the mixture daily.
- Mix 2 tbsp. of gram flour, 1 tsp. of turmeric, 2 tsp. of lemon juice and 3 tsp. of milk cream in a bowl. Stir the mixture into a paste and apply it on your skin. Leave the mixture on your skin until it dries. Scrub the mixture gently from your skin with a damp cloth or towel. Gram flour is a natural skin lightener. Mix and use the paste daily.
- Dry the peels of five oranges in the sun for two hours. Once the peels are dry, grind them into a powder using a grater. Mix 1 tbsp. of milk with the orange peels and make a paste. Apply the orange peel/milk paste to your skin and let it dry. Rinse off the mixture with warm water.
- Soak four almonds in a bowl of water overnight. Grind them into a powder the next day. Add 2 tsp. of milk and 2 tsp. of honey to the almond powder. Stir the mixture into a paste. Apply the paste to your skin and let it dry. Rinse off the mixture with lukewarm water.
- Mix 1 tbsp. of turmeric powder and 1 tbsp. of lime juice in a bowl. Stir the mixture into a paste. Apply the mixture to your skin and let it dry. Rinse your skin with warm water.
- Juice five potatoes with a hand juicer or juicing machine. Apply the potato juice to your skin. Let the juice remain on your skin for 15 minutes. Rinse your skin with warm water. Potatoes contain natural skin-bleaching agents. Apply potato juice to your skin daily.
