Watch Cases with Snap-On Back

• 1). Place a cloth on a table and position the watch face down on top of the cloth. Immobilize the watch with a clamp.
  
  
• 2). Insert the flat blade in between the case back and the case and pry up to remove the case back from the watch case.
  
  
• 3). Identify the battery inside of the watch case and gently insert the flat edge screwdriver into the watch case and pry the battery lose to remove it from the watch case. Insert a new battery in place of the one you just removed.
  
  
• 4). Return the watch case back to its original position. Ensure the rubber sealing, if any, its properly aligned before closing the case. Apply pressure to the perimeter to snap the back it into place.
  
  Use a soft cloth to clean all dirt and fingerprints from the watch and reset that watch.
  
  

Watch Cases with Screw-Type Backs

• 1). Place a cloth on a table and position the watch face down on top of the cloth. Immobilize the watch with a clamp.
  
  
• 2). Remove the watch band. Locate the pin head on the edge of the band that connects it to the clasp. Insert a pointed tool into the pin head hole and press firmly to take it out. Separate the band from the watch.
  
  
• 3). Align the metal tips of the case wrench with the notches on the back side of the watch. Unscrew the back lid that covers the battery by turning the wrench counter-clockwise. Insert the flat edge screwdriver into the watch case and pry the battery lose to remove it from the watch case. Insert a new battery in place of the one you just removed.
  
  
• 4). Close the back. Ensure the back of the case is aligned with the case of the watch and screw it back into place. Use your fingers to turn the back clockwise. Finish the job using a case wrench to tighten it snuggly.
  
  
• 5). Use a soft cloth to clean dirt of fingerprints from the watch and reset that watch.
