Should I Seek Medical Attention Right After The Accident?
The Answer To That One Is: "Yes, absolutely"!
Many individuals involved in a motor vehicle accident are too embarrassed to seek Medical Attention. "Why not" you ask. The answer to that one is, "Either their bumps or bruises don't (at the time) seem to be serious or the onset of symptoms don't immediately occur".
After an impact, an initial evaluation, at a local hospital's Emergency Room, is solidly recommended.
X-Rays can be performed which will generally rule out broken bones or fractures. Also: Muscle relaxants and/or anti-inflammatory medications can be prescribed which will address muscle strains or pulls.
Of course it's true that not every accident produces an injury: HOWEVER: If the onset of a serious injury is delayed, the failure to have a medical complaint recorded will absolutely affect your chances of an acceptable financial recovery.
You Should Never Forget The Following Three Facts
Please Read This Paragraph Carefully: If your physician diagnosed an injury, you must make sure to keep your appointments and scheduled treatments. This is true - - even if all the doctor is doing is re-examining you and then prescribing new medications.
Take it from Dan who knows (after handling many thousands of such cases): Documentation of your "Pain and Suffering" is absolutely essential so you can successfully be paid what you have coming for your personal injury claim.
You must believe me when I say, "That's not going to happen if you stop seeing your doctor and just offer up prayers, to your Higher Power, asking Him that in time you're going to get well"!
Unsuccessful Treatment Should Always Lead Your Doctor To Become More Aggressive - - Especially When It Comes To Discovering That Which Will Assist With Your Physical And Eventually Your Monetary Recovery

You Should Never Forget The Following Three Facts
- Back and neck injuries (like herniated disks) are not always determinable! The reason for that is because they're initially diagnosed as "Soft Tissue" injuries before an MRI or a CT Scan reveals a disc injury.
- Normal x-ray film is not diagnostic of a disc injury!
Most insurance adjusters will (more often than not) refuse to pay a claim when there has been a delay in receiving that type of treatment. - Dan Baldyga was on-the-job for almost 40 years and (even though there were solid reasons as to "Why" there was a delay or gap in treatment) almost every victim (who fell into that category) ended up truly uncompensated.
