How to Use an M-Audio Keyboard
- 1). Place the Keyboard Series CD-ROM in your computer's optical drive. If the installer does not launch automatically, click "My Computer," then double-click the Keyboard Controller Series CD-ROM to launch the driver installer.
- 2). Follow the installer's on-screen directions, which include selecting your language and product. Click "Install" to begin driver installation, wait for installation to complete, and click "Finish."
- 3). Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB port on the keyboard, and plug the other end into a USB port on your computer. The keyboard can run on USB power alone, so simply flip the power switch to "On."
- 4). Choose "Install software automatically" when the "Found New Hardware" Wizard appears and click "Next." Wait for the Wizard to finish, then click "Finish."
- 5). Double-click the software synthesizer or sequencer's desktop icon to launch it, or click "Start," "Applications" and then select your software synthesizer or sequencer from the applications list.
- 6). Click "Preferences" or "Options" in the software synthesizer or sequencer. Click "MIDI Devices" and select the M-Audio keyboard controller.
