How to Fill Kodak Ink Cartridges
- 1). Remove the ink cartridge from the printer and set it down on a layer of paper towels. Put on the plastic gloves that come with the refill kit.
- 2). Use the mini-drill or pin that came with the kit and push it down through the plastic top of the cartridge, at the top right corner near the "K" in "Kodak."
- 3). Fill the syringe with either the black ink or the appropriate color of ink, depending on which cartridge you are refilling.
- 4). Push the syringe tip into the hole you made and slide it all the way down into the ink sponge inside the cartridge. Inject the ink inside and then remove the syringe.
- 5). Place the cartridge inside a sealed plastic container or bag and let it sit overnight so that the sponge can fully absorb the ink. Repeat the process with the other cartridge and then put them both back inside the printer.
