    • 1). Locate and purchase a graphics adapter with an AGP 4x bus and S-Video support. The Matrox Millennium G550 and the Sapphire Radeon 9100 Atlantis are examples of two cards that meet these qualifications.

    • 2). Turn off the Dell OptiPlex GX260. Remove the power cable. Power off and disconnect any peripheral devices.

    • 3). Press the power button to drain the motherboard of electricity. Set the computer on the side opposite the cover panel.

    • 4). Push down on the buttons located on the left and right side of the OptiPlex GX260. Lift up the cover panel towards the front of the PC. Touch the chassis to ground yourself.

    • 5). Locate the AGP card, found near the peripheral ports on the back of the system. If you can't locate the card, find the 15-pin blue VGA port on the back panel. On the opposite side of the port is the AGP card.

    • 6). Raise the lever on the filler bracket found above the VGA port, and slide the bracket up and off the case.

    • 7). Depress the lever found on the side of the card opposite the filler bracket. Lift the card up and out of the 4x AGP port.

    • 8). Remove the AGP card with S-Video support out of its protective sleeve. Hold the card by its edges. Do not touch the copper prongs on the bottom of the card.

    • 9). Line up the copper prongs with the notches in the AGP slot. Insert the card into the slot while pressing on the lever on the side of the slot.

Release the lever and make sure that it slides into the notch on the side of the card. Slide the lever on the filler bracket back down to secure the S-Video AGP card.
