Create a new Point of Interest category

• 1). Open your "Preferences" menu on your TomTom GPS touchscreen.
  
  
• 2). Choose "Manage POIs."
  
  
• 3). Choose "Add POI category."
  
  
• 4). Name the new category.
  
  
• 5). Tap "OK."
  
  

Add Favorites to your new POI category

• 1). Go back to "Manage POIs."
  
  
• 2). Choose "Add POI."
  
  
• 3). Choose the POI category you just created.
  
  
• 4). Add your favorites and your home address.
  
  

Move your Points of Interest to your computer

• 1). Connect your TomTom to your computer.
  
  
• 2). Open TomTom Home.
  
  
• 3). Choose "Manage my device" in TomTom Home.
  
  
• 4). Choose "Items on device."
  
  
• 5). Click the blue plus icon to the left of "Points of Interest."
  
  
• 6). Choose the "Points of interest" you created earlier.
  
  
• 7). Select "Copy items to computer."
  
  

Finishing Up

• 1). Upgrade your map.
  
  
• 2). Keep your TomTom connected to your computer and TomTom Home open.
  
  
• 3). Go to the Main Menu in TomTom Home.
  
  
• 4). Choose "Add Traffic, Voices, Safety Cameras, etc."
  
  
• 5). Choose "Items on my Computer."
  
  
• 6). Click the blue plus icon to the left of "Points of Interest."
  
  
• 7). Click the box next to your custom "POI."
  
  
• 8). Click the "Add" button. This should move your favorites to your new map.
