• 1). Start with resources near you. Go to a county clerk, police station or sheriff's office and obtain background information for an individual. Sex-offenders have to register with local law enforcement and, by law, must make their individual addresses public, for example.
  
  
• 2). Use investigator online tools and perform reverse look-ups or database searches. BlackBook Online and People Search Pro are such two websites that not only give an individual's address, they will also let you obtain addresses for other family members of that individual.
  
  Additionally, ARIN is a registry site that might yield some results for an individual's Internet address.
  
  
• 3). Type "blackbookonline.info" into your Web browser. Wait for the page to open. Use any of the link information to help find an individual's address -- try the link titled, "Internet." Scroll through the list of resources. Each will give you free access to an individual's address, e-mail and possibly even where they reside.
  
  
• 4). Visit People Search Pro. It is a search database that costs approximately $3 a month, but you can opt for a free, seven-day trial. Type an individual's name into the blank fields and enter a city and state, if you know this information. Click on the "Search" button and wait a moment. Read for multiple locations under the phrase "Location," and then press the button that reads, "That's the one."
  
  
• 5). Use information from a local chamber of commerce membership directory. Visit the chamber of commerce or access its website. Business owners often register to network with other professionals. Directories will have an individual's address, business location and e-mail, as well as other relevant data that may help you find them. Click on "Chambers," if you opt for the website.
