How to Set a Canon MP210 as the Default Printer in Vista
- 1). Install the printer software. Put the install CD into your computer's optical drive. When it loads automatically, select "Easy Install." Follow the prompts to install the software.
- 2). Connect the USB cable from the printer to the computer when prompted by the installation CD. Turn on the printer. Finally, click "Exit" on the window that appears that says the installation was successful.
- 3). Click "Start." Choose "Control Panel." Select "Hardware and Sound" then click "Printers."
- 4). Right-click the MP210 in the printer list. Click "Set as Default Printer." Confirm that a check mark appears over the printer icon for the MP210. Close the dialog box.
