My Wedding Weight Loss Plan
I am one of those people who were always, not fat, but a little bit chubby. No matter what I did I couldn't lose the 15-20 pounds I felt I needed to lose. I would lose 6 or 7 pounds over a month then gain it right back. It drove me crazy. I was 5' 8" and weighed, let just say, about 150 pounds. I had been dating this great guy for about 2 years when he finally, popped the question. To say I was excited would not begin to describe my feelings; but I had this nagging thing about my weight. Since we were going to go to Tahiti for our Honeymoon and with the pending wedding, I decided I was going to lose those 15-20 pounds so I could be the best I could be.
One of my girlfriends (Sarah) suggested the 3 Week Diet by Brian Flatt. I thought, "Yeah right here is just another diet fad", but Sarah insisted it worked and that she used it herself a while ago and was very happy. Needless to say I had tried other diets and as I stated before, none of them really seemed to do very well. I just would try to follow the diet for a month and I would lose a few pounds only to gain it right back after the month of hard work and seeming to starve myself. Since Sarah was one of my better girlfriends and she had suggested it, I figured I would give it a try.
Well I ordered it and started going through it thinking that this is crazy. I can eat almost anything I want and just add a few other things to my diet; then the results would be that I lose weight. Sarah reassured me and told me just to follow the times to eat as outlined, do what it says, and you will be stunned at the results. I have to be honest I waited about 3 days before I said okay here goes nothing. The first day I lost one pound. I thought okay that was water weight or something like that. Then the second day I lost three pounds, the third two more. I mean wow in 3 days I lost 6 pounds and felt great. I was did not feel like I was starving at all yet the pounds were coming off very quickly.
After three weeks I reached my goal weight of 128 pounds. I felt so good. The nice thing was I kept the weight off for over a year now. It changed my life. I was so happy when we got married and went to Tahiti. My husband was very excited as well. I was not the least bit embarrassed as I walked down the beach and enjoyed the sunshine for those two spectacular weeks.
