  Hunting turkeys is a popular pastime among outdoor enthusiasts. There are different turkey hunting seasons depending on the state, the zone and the type of turkey. For example, in Texas, there is both a spring and fall hunting season for the Rio Grande Turkey, and only a spring season for the eastern turkey. • Magnum Guide Service in central Texas offers several different spring and fall turkey hunts, both semiguided and fully guided. All packages include lodging, meals, guides, transportation and access to the freezer facilities. • 1A Hunting offers a variety of semiguided and fully guided turkey hunting trips. Guests can choose from one to three-day packages that offer lodging, meals, guide services and two birds. Youth-only hunts are also available. The guides will also scout and bait the hunting areas. Transportation from the airport is also available, and amenities include a swimming pool and hot tub, fire ring, lighted skeet range, rifle range, game room, satellite television, an open patio and a walk-in cooler.
