How to Change the Windshield Washer Fluid in a Toyota Tundra

    • 1). Shift your Tundra into Park and turn off the engine. Pull the keys out of the ignition before popping the hood.

    • 2). Pull the hood release latch located to the left of the steering column and beneath the instrument panel.

    • 3). Exit your Tundra and find the auxiliary release latch located beneath its hood. Tug up on the latch to open the hood.

    • 4). Give the hood support using the prop rod resting along the edge of the engine compartment. Tuck the rod securely into the hood before proceeding.

    • 5). Locate the windshield washer fluid tank on the left side of the engine compartment next to the power steering fluid reservoir.

    • 6). Snap open the reservoir cap and place a funnel into the opening.

    • 7). Pour the additional washer fluid into the reservoir until it's nearly full. Then, top it off with a few drops of fluid to make sure it's completely full.

    • 8). Remove the funnel, close the reservoir cap and lower the hood.
