How to Make A Three-Dimensional Cardboard Object
- 1). Draw out the two-dimensional pattern for your three-dimensional shape. For instance, if you are forming a cube, draw out the six sides of the cube into a cross-like pattern.
- 2). Cut out the pattern and trace it onto the cardboard.
- 3). Cut out the cardboard and lay it on the table so that it is in the shape of a cross. Fold the squares in the vertical strip so that the edge of the bottom square touches the edge of the top square. Then fold the two remaining horizontal pieces up so that their sides touch the top and two sides of the cube.
- 4). Tape the edges of the shape so that it holds its form.
