    Dinky

    • The Jackson Dinky series were designed using a standard Fender Strat-like shape. They come painted or stained and have two current pickup configurations. Part of the Pro Series, the Dinky is available with a standard humbucker/single coil/single coil configuration that has a Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo and a humbucker/humbucker configuration that has a hard tail. The neck is made of maple and is bolted onto the body. The fingerboard as well as the headstock are bound and the guitar comes with a hard case.

    Kelly

    • The Jackson Kelly is a very popular shape for Jackson Guitars and is based on the Gibson Explorer shape. The Kelly has a Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo and a humbucker/humbucker configuration. The neck is also made of maple and has MOTO shark fin inlays. The Jackson Kelly is used by many prominent heavy metal guitarists such as Marty Friedman and Dave Mustaine from the band Megadeth. One of the unique features of the Jackson Kelly guitar is the absence of a tone knob for the Seymour Duncan pickups.

    Rhoads

    • The Jackson Rhoads was originally created for its namesake, Randy Rhoads, who died in an airplane accident in 1981. It is a derivative of the Gibson V guitar, with the top fin substantially larger than the bottom fin. Although Randy Rhoads originally used Gibson Flying V's, he switch to the Jackson V style that was named after him later in his life. The current Rhoads V guitar has a Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo, shark fin inlays and a maple bolt-on neck like many of the other Jackson models.

    Custom Models

    • Jackson Guitars has many custom models that have grown in popularity through the years. Jackson's are known for their aggressive look, so it makes sense that most of their endorsers are heavy metal guitarists. many of their custom models are based on their current lineup with Phil Demmel of Machine Head using a guitar very similar to a Flying V. Scott Ian from Anthrax's custom model is based on the Dinky shape and Adrian Smith from Iron Maiden has a Jackson that looks and sounds very similar to his trusty Fender Stratocaster.
